GRE Math Boost FAQs

 While our GRE Exam Prep course gives students practice, tips and strategies for success, some students need more focused instruction in math. GRE Math Boost gives more in-depth training on those skills frequently encountered on the GRE. This course will further prepare students for the Quantitative Reasoning section of the GRE.

Is GRE Math Boost a standalone course? Do I also need to register for the GRE Exam Prep?

The GRE Math Boost is a separate course meant to provide additional support for the quantitative reasoning section of the GRE.
Students may also want to register for the full GRE Exam Prep course and use the math boost as a supplement.

If I have already taken the GRE Exam Prep, do I need to take the GRE Math Boost?

The GRE Math Boost is a separate course intended to boost students' scores in the quantitative reasoning section of the GRE.

What does the GRE Math Cover?

The GRE Math Boost gives more in-depth training on those skills frequently encountered on the quantitative reasoning section of GRE such as:
•    Measuring problem-solving ability
•    Focusing on basic concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and data analysis
•    Solving problems using mathematical models

Cell Phone Policy

We want all students to be fully engaged in their test prep course.  To encourage full immersion, we ask that students limit cell phone use during class. Students are welcome to use their cell phones on breaks but phones should be tucked away during the duration of learning.
