COVID-19 Updates

As North Carolina moves through different phases, Central Piedmont will continue to closely monitor coronavirus (COVID-19) updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, and the Mecklenburg County Health Department.

We will offer a mix of virtual and in-person courses through the fall, and possibly beyond. Our virtual options are available for tests that take place in an online format. All of our virtual courses are taught by live instructors via WebEx.

The health and safety of our students and staff are the highest priority. Strict safety guidelines will be enforced for all in-person courses. Central Piedmont requires face coverings to be worn on all of our campuses. We encourage students to provide their own face coverings, but disposable mask will be available as a back-up. Students are required to complete a Health Assessment form the same week they will be present on campus. If students are enrolled in a multi-week course, they will have to fill out this form every week.
