This 4-part College Readiness Series will assist students through the journey of choosing a college and applying for admission. If students are unsure of where to begin, the curriculum and activities will provide many useful tools to help them get started. Topics will include exploring school choices, investigating majors, beginning the Common Application, creating a personal statement essay, applying for financial aid (including a parent Q&A session), and planning college tours. Skills learned in this series will put college application resources within easy reach and students will gain familiarity with the application process. The final class will include a college tour of UNC Charlotte, therefore local transportation will be required.
*These classes are ideal for students who are entering their junior year in high school or just starting their application process in their senior year.
$350 per student
